Stencils a great way to brand you road cases, but it can be difficult to accomodate 'floating' letts like the 'A' and 'O' in our logo. We designed and fabricated some custom stencils that allow us to paint our logo on road cases and apple boxes.
Our logo is also impossible to print with a standard paper/cardboard stencil. We utilized a 3D printing method in order solve the problem of the floating letters and complex logos. Our stencils have a 'bridge' that holds the floating letters in place, without leaving a tell-tale stencil mark.
Our version 1 prototype had a few issues, so we beefed up the design of the bridges on future versions, added 'ears' to make it easy to tape and secure the stencil to vertical services, and holes to make it easy to hang a wet stencil to dry.
Normally we only need our stencil in a single color, but we ocassionally want to apply two brand colors. We made an integrated mask to enable us to utilize orange for our logo and white/black for our Atomic wordmark.
