Our camera positions require a group of cables, which can be difficult to quickly deploy, and even harder to keep clean and not be a tripping hazard. We created 100' and 50' camera wiring loom, and a custom patch panel with power distribution.
Our looms include:
- 6G SDI - Camera Feed
- G6 SDI - Camera Return (for Blackmagic Design CCU Control)
- 6G SDI - Auxillary line for prompter, confidence monitor or other use
- Cat 5 Network - Intercom Beltpack
- Powercon - Power for camera, teleprompter, etc.
- Wrapped in TechFlex (black or high-visibility)
We use a custom patch panel that allows us to quickly connect and disconnect the camera looms, which includes powercon distribution to power the equipment, as well as network and SDI connections.
